How to Drive With J.B. Hunt After CDL School?
J.B. Hunt offers a wide variety for drivers looking for some of the best driving jobs in the industry! For drivers with three months or more of CDL-A driving experience, we have jobs available across the country in our Dedicated Contract Services® (DCS®), Intermodal and Final Mile Services® (FMS) business units.
For CDL-A drivers who do not have three months of experience, we have opportunities for you with the J.B. Hunt Apprenticeship Program.
What is the J.B. Hunt Apprenticeship Program?
J.B. Hunt’s Apprenticeship Program for truck drivers provides paid on-the-job training to recent CDL-A graduates who are looking for entry-level truck driving jobs.
Drivers hired into this program train alongside a J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks, learning about our safety culture, how to run their lanes and more. Upon successful completion of their training, drivers have an opportunity to transition to a full-time position as a local or regional driver.
From day one, drivers in our Apprenticeship Program are considered full-time J.B. Hunt employee drivers, which means they will have access to a variety of competitive benefit options.
Does J.B. Hunt Have Non-CDL Driving Jobs?
J.B. Hunt has driving jobs available for drivers without a Class A license! As an Installation Specialist, drivers in our FMS business unit can find a fulfilling driving career by making deliveries in a box truck to customers, build sites and homes.
With no CDL-A required, this is a popular career option for drivers still interested in driving with a transportation industry leader!
