J.B. Hunt's Apprenticeship Program

This program for truck drivers provides paid on-the-job training to recent CDL-A graduates. If you are a new driver committed to safety and ready to level up your driving skills, this program is for you!

Drivers hired into this program train alongside a J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks, learning about our safety culture, how to run their lanes and more. Upon successful completion of their training, drivers have an opportunity to transition to a traditional driving position within our Dedicated Contract Services®, Intermodal or Final Mile Services® fleets.

Apprenticeship Program drivers are J.B. Hunt employee drivers from day one, granting them access to a variety of comprehensive benefit coverage options.

Driving Jobs for Student Drivers

While we do not have CDL-A training or schooling, we encourage you to fill out our student interest form or look into our Delivery Installation Specialist jobs that involve delivering and assembling household items and do not require a Class A license.
