Our Final Mile Services (FMS) jobs are some of our most active and customer-facing positions. Employee drivers start each day at a J.B. Hunt office, receiving assignments from their manager. Once the delivery truck is loaded, drivers head out to make deliveries to customer locations.
These deliveries typically occur during business hours, so most of these drivers enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off. Jobs Within Final Mile Services
No Class A? No problem. Our FMS business unit has jobs for a variety of license and experience types.
- Class A Drivers – Operate a tractor-trailer while delivering and installing freight at customer locations. Requires a CDL-A license and experience. Most drivers get home daily.
- Straight Truck Drivers – Operate a box truck and deliver and install freight at customer locations. No CDL or experience required.
- Delivery Installation Specialists – Assist during the installation process. No experience or licensing is required.
