We take caring for our drivers seriously, and a big part of that is having onsite management available at our accounts and intermodal ramps. We mean it when we say we have an open-door policy, and onsite management is just a start. Our People Support Center (1-800-777-4968) is available to call at any time, at home or on the road, to help navigate questions about your benefits, career and more.
Safety Culture
Safety comes first at J.B. Hunt. In addition to investing in safety technology for our drivers to take advantage of, we trust our drivers and believe they are the captain of their ship. We work to make sure they are empowered to make the safest decisions they can each time they get behind the wheel. That’s why we are committed to providing all our drivers and driver managers with Smith System® training and certifications as a company-wide commitment to safety.
Veteran and Active Duty Support
J.B. Hunt was founded by a veteran, and we’re dedicated to honoring those who serve. When you drive with J.B. Hunt, you can find progressive policies toward military leave, including differential pay, as well as deployment and re-entry guides for our active-duty service members. In addition, anyone with GI Bill benefits can be eligible to access their Military Housing Allowance when you drive with J.B. Hunt.
