Find a Job That Fits Your Life
A Dedicated Driver's Mode to Intermodal
One of our drivers, Chad, had been driving a Dedicated Contract Services® route in New Jersey since 2012, when his family decided they needed to make a move to a slower environment.
"Last year, my family and I made the decision to transfer down from New Jersey and join the local intermodal crew in Haslet," Chad said. "We absolutely love it down here. I wish we had made the move sooner."
Chad didn't want to start over somewhere new, so he used the Driver Transfer Portal to search for open truck driving opportunities down south. He found plenty of positions and easily transferred from his New Jersey route to an intermodal role in Texas. Chad was able to keep his tenure, benefits and previous driving history, along with receiving seamless relocation support.
Trucking Technology That Supports Your Career
Chad's experience highlights a challenge many drivers face: choosing between a life change and the job stability they've earned.
The Driver Transfer Portal is a trucking technology resource designed to meet our drivers where they are. Drivers can search for open truck driving jobs nationwide and review positions in different business units, such as Dedicated, Intermodal or Final Mile Services®.
