Transferable Military Driving Experience

We understand that military driving experience is invaluable and can easily translate to experience driving a Class A vehicle. If military members have a Certificate of Release within the last two years that contains a Military Occupational Specialty code of 88M, 3531, 2TX1 or EO or have received a Commander’s Waiver, they may be eligible for 100% of time served to count toward Class A driving experience. Apprenticeship Program for Inexperienced Drivers

J.B. Hunt has opportunities for new CDL-A graduates to receive paid on-the-job training and experience through our Apprenticeship Program. Drivers in this program train with a certified driver trainer before transitioning to a full-time position within our Dedicated Contract Services^®, Intermodal or Final Mile Services^® business units upon successful completion.
