How to Get Vaccinated
Our drivers continue to keep us moving throughout the pandemic, and now J.B. Hunt is working hard to ensure that a COVID-19 vaccine is available to anyone who wants it, regardless of location. We have hosted clinics on the corporate campus in Lowell, Ark. for J.B. Hunt employees and contractors, as well as the adult members of their households. We will continue to provide more opportunities for COVID-19 vaccine clinics on-site at the corporate campus for all employees and contractors, along with the adult members of their households, so keep an eye out for official communication.
For employee drivers outside of Arkansas or who aren’t traveling around the Northwest Arkansas area, the vaccine finder tool from Castlight can help you locate a vaccine clinic and schedule an appointment.
We encourage anyone without disqualifying health conditions to get vaccinated.
Here to Help
Your manager or capacity coordinator can help you find a vaccination site near you and assist you in scheduling an appointment, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
To ensure that every J.B. Hunt employee who wants a COVID-19 vaccine has time away from work to get one, non-salaried employees are eligible to be paid 4 hours of COVID-19 PTO per shot and salaried employees do not need to use PTO for time to get their vaccine shots. Simply present your immunization card to your manager, regardless of when you were vaccinated. You can learn more about our COVID-19 PTO policy on the People site.
If you have concerns or are still questioning whether you should get vaccinated, please review the Frequently Asked Questions on the CDC website for more information.
