As we celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (Sept. 11 – 17), we reflect on the tremendous impact our drivers have had, both in their communities and within our country.
We look forward to September every year at J.B. Hunt, because we celebrate our drivers not just during one week, but throughout the entire month. With celebrations nationwide, prizes and giveaways, we’re proud to let our drivers know how much they are appreciated.

For more than 60 years, drivers have been a cornerstone of our company. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt founded our company with drivers in mind, and as a driver himself, Mr. Hunt worked hard to make sure we always remembered our roots.
Thanks to this legacy, a J.B. Hunt driver, José, recently spoke in Washington, D.C. on behalf of our company, and truck drivers throughout the country, as the U.S. Department of Labor inducted essential workers into their Hall of Honor.
José reminded all of us that when people think of J.B. Hunt, they think of our growth, our stability and the legacy that Mr. and Mrs. Hunt have created for our drivers as leaders within the transportation industry.
Because of our drivers, not only have we grown to the largest Intermodal and Dedicated Contract Services® provider in North America, but we know that our next milestones are always within reach, as we grow bigger, stronger and better together.
