Driving Education: J.B. Hunt’s Adopt-a-Class Program

People are at the forefront of everything we do at J.B. Hunt, and part of how we show this for drivers like you is through our annual Adopt-a-Class program.

This program empowers our drivers to directly enrich their communities and their children by nominating classrooms to receive donations for school supplies and classroom resources. Thanks to our drivers, the Adopt-a-Class program has had far-reaching impacts across the country.

What is Adopt-a-Class?

J.B. Hunt’s Adopt-a-Class program was founded in 2013, and, for more than 10 years, our drivers have been nominating their child’s or grandchild’s classroom to receive school supply donations. This year, with help from Scholastic, the program donated more than $60,000 to 56 classrooms across the country. 

Thanks to the stories our drivers share about classrooms in need, 406 schools across the country have received Adopt-a-Class donations since the program was founded, totaling nearly $400,000 in classroom donations.
