Does J.B. Hunt Offer Health Insurance?

After just 30 days of full-time employment, company drivers are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance options. Our drivers can also choose to enroll in basic or supplemental life insurance plans, critical illness and so much more. At J.B. Hunt, we are dedicated to providing our drivers with options that make a difference for them and their families. 

J.B. Hunt company drivers also have access to disability and legal coverage to help protect against life’s unknowns. No matter what insurance coverage you choose, we care deeply about equipping our drivers with options to help them protect what matters most.

Does J.B. Hunt Offer 401(k)?

All J.B. Hunt employees can invest in their future by contributing to either a pre-tax, after-tax or Roth 401(k) account.  After one year of employment with at least 1,000 hours worked, J.B. Hunt will match $0.50 for each dollar you contribute to your 401(k), up to three percent of your pay.

Drivers qualify for medical, dental and vision coverage on day 31 of eligible full-time employment. Employee premium contributions are based on the benefit plan and level of coverage elected. J.B. Hunt covers the cost for basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, as well as certain disability benefits. 

Employees and covered spouses who are tobacco-free pay lower medical premiums. If you are not tobacco-free, J.B. Hunt offers tools and resources to help reduce your overall health and wellness risk.
