At J.B. Hunt, truck driver appreciation has been engrained in our culture from day one. Throughout this month, we recognized some of our drivers from 2022 who went above and beyond, presenting them with a J.B. Hunt Driver of the Year award.
This year, we awarded 16 J.B. Hunt drivers from our Intermodal, Dedicated Contract Services® (DCS®) and Final Mile Services® (FMS) business units with the distinct honor of Driver of the Year.
What is the Driver of the Year Award?
Management teams across the country nominate drivers in their fleets for this yearly award. Upon selection, the winning J.B. Hunt drivers are recognized at regional company kickoff meetings where executives and operations managers celebrate our successes together.
Drivers who win J.B. Hunt Driver of the Year receive a custom award, special recognition during our kickoff meetings and a $5,000 bonus.
DCS Drivers of the Year
Our DCS business unit had the most Driver of the Year nominations! Thanks to their exceptional accomplishments, we are pleased to honor Archie, John, Kevin, Randy, Robert and Tracy with the Driver of the Year award.
Intermodal Drivers of the Year
Intermodal operations teams named these five drivers as deserving of this award due to their tireless hard work. Congratulations to Christopher, Eric, Michael, Mohammed and Robert!
FMS Drivers of the Year
Our FMS Driver of the Year winners showed great dedication to building relationships and delivering for our customers. One of our Drivers of the Year for 2022 included Jose, who traveled to Washington, D.C. last year as a representative of J.B. Hunt and drivers throughout the country. We couldn’t be prouder of Adrian, David, John, Jose and Kompton!
