Truck Driving Jobs for Veterans

J.B. Hunt is dedicated to hiring 10,000 Veterans company-wide by 2020. We value your character, ambition and the skills you bring to J.B. Hunt’s jobs and the transportation industry.

For those with at least three months CDL-A experience, we have truck driving jobs available. Interested in driving but don't have a CDL? Our  non-CDL driving jobs may be the fit for you!

Qualified Veterans who seek a local non-CDL straight truck driving job within our growing Final Mile division will not be required to attend driving school or receive a CDL-A, but will only be required to hold an operator’s license to drive a straight truck.  These candidates will receive paid on-the-job training - installing appliances and equipment into homes and businesses.

Those interested in a local or regional CDL-A trucking job will need at least three months CDL-A driving experience.
Local Non-CDL Straight Truck Driving Jobs:
A local non-CDL trucking job consists of a delivery installation specialist operating a straight truck and using technical skills to deliver and install appliances, furniture, mattresses, electronics, fitness equipment and many other products into customers’ homes and businesses throughout the country.

J.B. Hunt provides paid on-the-job training so that you can safely and confidently deliver and install items at various locations. As a local delivery installation specialist, you will be home daily and enjoy consistent weekly time off.

Local CDL-A Truck Driving Jobs:
Local truck driving jobs typically consist of transporting freight from a railway or for a customer account within a 300-mile radius, usually allowing you to complete your deliveries and return home the same day. Our local CDL-A trucking jobs involve operating a tractor-trailer, making it necessary for a candidate to attend truck driving school and obtain a Class A license. As a local truck driver, you will be home daily and enjoy consistent weekly time off.

Regional CDL-A Truck Driving Jobs:
Regional truck driving jobs consist of moving freight from a railway or for a customer account within a region that encompasses the surrounding states. A regional driver is usually on the road for five days or more and returns home on a weekly or biweekly basis. Our CDL-A regional truck driving jobs involve operating tractor-trailers, requiring one to attend truck driving school and obtain a Class A license.

All company truck drivers enjoy access to comprehensive health benefits offerings including medical, dental and vision as well as life insurance, 401K and paid vacation.
